This is the sake bowl, known as the Katakuchi.
Sghr Sugahara's ”en” series has beautiful gentle flowing lines.
It was born out of a desire to allow consumers to pour each other sake using lipped bowls and spend a fun time together.
Each and every item is handmade.
These diagonal lines are so difficult to make that they can only be expressed by skilled craftspeople.
This sake bowl both has a stylish shape and imparts a sense of warmth.
It fits comfortably in your hand, and the sharpness of the drink at the spout is outstanding. The delicate shadow that appears when exposed to light is also attractive.
Perfect for guests and gifts.
